It’s that time of the month! We know you’ve been waiting with baited breath, so without further ado, here’s what .Wav has been listening to this November.
April Mixtape 3 – Snow Strippers
This album is chaotic, frenzied, and full of weird little details (like beat switches and computerized voices). It’s the perfect album for a girl with pierced nipples or the boy who wants an e-girl. If you like internet trash hyper-pop, you’ll love this album.

Blanket – Kevin Abstract
The eerie echo of a harrowing bedtime story that kept you up as a child, except the scary story is filled with every benign trope of young adulthood. Weird, rough around the edges, yet curiously comforting.

Boat Songs – MJ Lenderman
“Boat Songs” dropped last April, and songs from the album have been infiltrating my playlists ever since. I really enjoy listening to this album. Enjoy 🙂
Sami Skaff, General Manager
Fatamorgana – Terra Alta
Some epic electronic punk vibes from Barcelona.

Hellfire – black midi
A fundamental piece in Domcanon. It has one of the greatest album closers ever, probably. Proof of rock music’s everlasting capacity to discover yet-unseen pockets of innovation.

SEYCHELLES – Masayoshi Takanaka
Listening to this album makes me feel like something good is around the corner, almost like lusting for a cup of peach ice cream.

Singles and Sessions 1979-1981 – Delta 5
There’s something about Delta 5 in the winter time. This compilation contains a great power that strikes you into motion. The union of forceful scattered noise and light, and the almost operatic vocals are ominously cool. This album rides the line of fun and danger… or maybe there is no line!

They Might’ve Even Loved Me – NoMBe
Fantastic album dedicated to all the women in Noah’s life. He created a new genre and sound called “Electric Soul” with this album. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic.

Torches – Foster The People
An absolute gem of an album. Each track feels like a journey, with a perfect blend of catchy hooks and lyrics. From the iconic “Pumped Up Kicks” to the dreamy vibes of “Helena Beat”, it’s a musical roller coaster that keeps you hooked from start to finish. It’s the kind of album that transcends genres and has a timeless quality. I’m sure everyone has heard a song from this iconic album but if you haven’t then definitely give it a listen!

When Will We Land? – Barry Can’t Swim
This album is just the perfect mixture of groovy dance and jazz. I think what makes this album special are the piano beats and musical instruments mixed with electronic, which cause it to be really diverse and easy to listen to in any setting. It’s very hard for me to listen to this album and not be happy.

Where the Heart is – Sweet Pill
There’s so much raw passion and character in Sweet Pill’s debut album that came out last year. It’s a mixture of searing emo, pop-punk, and post-hardcore that pulls from modern and midwest-emo inspirations. Definitely one of the best additions to 5th wave emo I’ve seen recently.
